Storytime Crafts: Can you make a scary face?

This craft was based on Jan Thomas’ Can you make a scary face?

You will need:

Red, yellow, green, black, and white cardstock

Scissors

Glue

Markers

Hole punch (optional)

Brass fastener (optional)

Templates for craft:

Print the head and body on green cardstock.

Print the arms and legs on yellow cardstock.

Print the nose on black cardstock.

Print the eyes on white cardstock. Draw pupils using markers.

Print wings on red cardstock. Draw dots on wings with markers.

Use scraps of white paper to cut out teeth. I used black construction paper for the antennas. Cut a strip and roll around pencil or marker to create a curl. Use black marker to draw mouth for ladybug.

If you want to have moving wings, use hole punch to make a hole on the ladybug’s body before attaching head. Position wings and punch hole, attach to body with brass fastener.
