Storytime Crafts: Snowy Blue Jay

We made this craft to go with Best in Snow by April Pulley Sayre.

You will need:

White Paper (2 shades)

Brown Paper

Blue Paper

Black Paper

Markers

Googly eyes

Scissors

Glue

I used a Cricut to cut out some snowflakes but you could use stickers, snowflake confetti, or draw some onto your paper.

Print the blue jay’s body and wing on to blue paper.

Print the blue jay’s belly on to white paper.

Print the beak and neck band on black paper.

Print the tree and limbs on to brown paper.

Assemble craft on a large piece of white paper. Use a marker to add details to the tree, limb, and blue jay’s body. Glue on googly eye and add snowflakes.
