Pumpkin Owls

For the month of October our story time theme is “EEK and AWW!”

I love owls, especially any opportunity to incorporate them into a craft. While searching for inspiration I came across a very similar craft. Combining pumpkins and owls seemed like the perfect autumn craft!

I have attached the following templates: a tall and a short pumpkin, owl feet, and wings in 2 sizes and a few colors.

I used some of the scrap paper from the pumpkins and cut out triangles for the beaks. I also used scrap paper from the wings to cut out a wavy pattern for the owl’s chest. Print the templates on the colored paper, cut out, glue, and enjoy a festive pumpkin owl!

You will need:

Orange paper

Color paper for wings

Scissors

Glue sticks

Large googly eyes or 1.5″ and 1″ hole punch
